  2. Design Studio Consultation

    You will meet at Habify in Coral Gables...You will meet at Habify in Coral Gables with one our Project Developers. After a review of your scope of work, priorities and motivations for the project you will learn everything you need to know to about Habify - our process, products and people. At the end of the consultation, you can decide whether to move forward with the next step of the process.
    Who is involved?: All client decision makers, Habify Project Developer
    Location?: Habify Design Studio
    How long will it last?: 1 hour
    What is required in advance?: Complete a brief online survey about your project and provide Habify with photos and/or plans of the existing space.
    Cost?: $0

  3. Concept Development

    We will visit your home...We will visit your home to further assess the scope of work, take measurements and review preliminary concepts to ensure the proposed work is practical within your budget range. Within a few days, we will meet again at the Habify Design Studio to collaboratively develop an all inclusive budget for your project using our Good-Better-Best pricing system. At this point, you should have all of the information you need to decide if you would like to work with us on your project.
    Who is involved?: All client decision makers, Habify Project Developer
    Location?: Client Residence and Habify Design Studio
    How long will it last?: 1-2 hours at residence and 1-2 hours at Design Studio
    What is required in advance?: After your Design Studio Consultation you will provide us with inspiration photos for your design in a Houzz Ideabook -or- Pinterest Board.
    Cost?: $250 per space

  4. Design & Planning

    Measurements will be taken...Measurements will be taken and you will meet with our design & production team in your home to start developing the details of your design. Within a few weeks we will present your design in our showroom along with a total price to complete the work including construction documents, permits, construction costs, ­fixtures and finish materials. After we will get your feedback we will make the final revisions to the plan and you will be ready to move forward.
    Who is involved?: The Habify Design Team and all client decision makers
    How long will it last?: 3-4 weeks per space depending size & complexity of project
    What is required in advance?: Approval of project budget and scope
    Cost?: Design Retainer Fee of $2500 per space (will be applied to project cost)

  5. Pre-Production

    We will produce documents...We will produce documents for permitting, shop drawings and detailed project specifications. Once you give final approval on your material selections everything will be ordered and we will apply for permits, prepare the schedule and mobilize the entire project team. As soon as your materials are ready and the permit is approved we will set your start date, have a kickoff meeting in your home with the entire team and get ready for the start of production.
    Who is involved?: Habify design & production team, our vendors and your municipal building department
    How long will it last?: 3-8 weeks depending size & complexity of project
    What is required in advance?: Signed production agreement & deposit payment
    Cost?: 40% construction deposit based on actual project cost

  6. Production

    We believe the remodeling experience should be satisfying...We believe the remodeling experience should be satisfying and free from anxiety. We recognize the stress remodeling can put on a family so we take great care to protect your home from dust and ensure the safety of your family and pets throughout the project. A member of our team will always be onsite while production is underway inside your home to ensure the work is completed according to the design specs with a high level of craftsmanship. On your personalized project website you will always be plugged into to the real-time schedule, progress photo updates and project financials. Each day you will receive a progress report from us with the latest updates.
    Who is involved?: The Habify production team, our trade contractors and vendors
    How long will it last?: 4-12 weeks depending size & complexity of project
    What is required in advance?: Permit Issuance, Final approval, payment and delivery confirmation for all finish material selections and building products
    Cost?: You will be billed based on milestones of completed work

  7. Post-Production and Warranty Period

    We don't lose your number...We don't lose your number after the the hammers stop swinging. Once we close your permits and complete any outstanding items, your 3 year warranty period begins. We will check in with you at the 6 and 12 month mark to make sure you are 100% satisfied with our work and if anything needs our attention we will take care of it at your early convenience. Should warranty issues arise with any of the finish products in your project we will handle those as well.
